GIGI ACNON Smoothing Facial Cleanser is a professional-grade, gentle cleansing formula created specifically for oily and acne-prone skin. The active complex includes soothing Canadian willowherb (Epilobium) and modern retinoid technology (hydroxypinacolone retinoate) together with moisturizing and barrier-support ingredients to cleanse thoroughly without stripping the skin. Regular use (morning and evening) helps regulate sebum, reduce inflammation and support the skin’s healing process — making it ideal as Step 1 in the ACNON salon treatment and home-care system. Formulated to balance, soothe and refresh skin while preparing it for subsequent professional treatment steps.

Directions — salon & retail copy (clear, step-by-step)

Professional / In-salon (Facial Step #1):

One. Begin with makeup remover if needed.

Two. Wet skin with warm water. Apply coin-sized amount of cleanser.

Three. Massage gently in circular motions for ~1 minute, focusing on T-zone and affected areas (avoid eyelids).

Four. Rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry. Proceed to ACNON Spotless Skin Refresher (toner) and the prescribed ACNON treatment (overnight treatment / mask / moisturiser). 

Homecare (for clients): use morning and evening as part of the ACNON routine. 


Professional notes:

Contains a retinoid derivative (hydroxypinacolone retinoate). Topical retinoids are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding — advise pregnant or breastfeeding clients to avoid products containing retinoids and consult their GP. (Follow local medical guidance.)

Avoid contact with eyes; if irritation occurs, discontinue and patch test before next application.

Be cautious when combining with aggressive exfoliation or strong acids in-salon — stagger treatments to minimise irritation (especially if using peels).

Fragrance present — consider for highly fragrance-sensitive clients. (INCI lists parfum, limonene, linalool).
