ESTER C MILD CLEANSER (Cabin)

The GIGI Ester C Mild Cleanser is a professional-grade cleansing gel developed for all skin types (including sensitive, pigmented, or post-treatment skin).
It uses a blend of mandelic acid, lactic acid and a vitamin C-derivative (Ester C) along with soothing botanicals like chamomile and allantoin to cleanse effectively while preserving moisture and comfort. 

The low-foaming, SLS-free formula doesn’t disrupt the skin’s natural pH and is ideal as the first step in corrective or brightening protocols (such as the Ester C range) — it removes makeup/sebum, begins refinement of texture, and primes the skin for active treatments.

Key Ingredients

Mandelic Acid – A gentle AHA that promotes surface renewal and improves texture. 

Lactic Acid – Supports exfoliation and maintains smooth, even appearance. 

Ester C (Vitamin C Derivative: Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate) – Brightening, antioxidant support and tone improvement. 

Chamomilla (Chamomile) Flower Water & Allantoin – Soothing and anti-irritant support. 

Glycerin & Humectants – Hydrate and support skin barrier during cleansing. 

Professional Use (Salon):
Apply a small amount of the Mild Cleanser to damp skin. Gently massage for 1-2 minutes (or 3-4 as indicated by some sources) then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Proceed with toning, treatment or mask in your protocol. 

Home Use (Client Take-Home):
Recommended morning and/or evening. Use after removing makeup if applicable. Massage onto wet face and neck for approx. 30–60 seconds, then rinse. For home-use, ensure the next step in routine (toner/serum) is applied. Advise use of SPF during the day when using brightening routines.

Professional Notes

This cleanser contains mild acids (mandelic & lactic) → For very sensitive or compromised skin, patch-test first, or use only once daily until tolerance is built.

As a part of the Ester C brightening/texture-refinement protocol, ensure clients understand daily sun protection is essential.

Although mild, the acids may increase skin sensitivity; avoid combining immediate post-peel/invasive treatments without adjusting.

Suitable for all skin types, but for extremely dry skin types you may follow with a richer cream or mask to prevent tightness.

Gentle enough for everyday use, but active enough to support treatment protocols.
