The GIGI Retin A Neutralizer is an essential post-treatment product for the Retin A professional peeling protocol. Developed to safely and effectively halt the activity of acid exfoliants used during the Retin A peel process, this alkaline solution (pH ≈ 8) helps to stabilise the skin immediately after application of chemical treatments.

By applying the Neutralizer after the acid peel, you help minimise risk of over-penetration or unwanted irritation, support a safer client experience, and ensure your salon protocol remains controlled and professional.

Key Benefits

Quickly neutralises residual acid activity post-peel

Balances skin pH and calms the skin after intensive exfoliation

Helps prevent prolonged acid exposure and reduces risk of adverse reactions

Supports professional treatment safety and consistency

Key Ingredients

Alkaline buffer solution – designed to raise skin surface pH to around 8, stopping acid action.

Minimal additional actives — formulated purely as a neutralizing/finishing step for professional protocols

Suitable only for salon/clinic use as part of the Retin A peel system

Professional Use Only (Salon Protocol):

Complete the acid-peel application step of your Retin A protocol.

Immediately apply the Neutralizer evenly across the entire treated area (face/neck) using sponges or cotton pads.

Allow solution to act for 1-2 minutes or as per your protocol checklist until skin pH has normalised/reaction has visibly calmed.

Remove any excess product and continue with the next steps of your treatment (soothing mask, cream, post-treatment home-care guidance).

Document the treatment in your protocol records and advise the client on appropriate after-care and sun protection.

Professional Notes

For professional salon/clinic use only. The neutralizer is part of a controlled treatment protocol.

Should only be used if a chemical peel or acid treatment (within the Retin A system) has been applied.

Do not use as a standalone product in home-care.

Post-treatment after-care (hydration, barrier support, sun protection) is critical for safety and results.

An essential finishing step to your acid-peel protocol — ensures safe, professional results.
